A tale of terror and torture, resistance and resilience.

Hedgehog on the street leading to the Russian Embassy, Jesus Christ in the underground made of lamps used by state police to "question" people not conform with the regime, old people with their dogs and sticks, stones from far west voyage...Paintings by a painter who became an installation artist and sculptor...

BATMAN

7/7 - 28/7/2020

Exhibition Opening on 7/7/2020 at 7 PM

Presents a unique cycle of the latest paintings by Ondrej Roubik. In this series he departs from his well known portraiture and brings us his cathartic vision of post-apocalyptic Gotham. Minimalist landscapes where the sky blends into the sea and vice versa, we perceive the tension towards abstraction avoided by a division line of horizon, always present, sometimes as a solid mass and in other cases only as a hint.
